Though the star has had his good share of product endorsements in the past, he’s not usually seen as the ideal brand ambassador by companies because of this reputation as a Bollywood brat. 

But recently, Salman shot for his first big ad in years for a breath freshner product. The ad was directed by Prasoon Joshi who’s also an active songwriter for Bollywood movies.  
Joshi tells a tabloid that Salman’s image of a funny, cool and spontaneous guy suits the brand. The actor is apparently the first big star to shoot for the said breath freshner brand.

However, the ad hasn’t been shot fully yet. Portions of it remain to be canned.

Meanwhile, Salman is also raring to return to the small screen with the second season of his show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ for which he begins shooting in the coming months. 

The star has also been on campaign trail for the candidates of various political parties, but predominantly the Congress party.

“I would love Manmohan Singh to be the Prime Minister. I think he is very smart man and a genius,” Khan recently said while campaigning for a Congress candidate from Vadodara constituency.
